We had a relaxing sunset cruise, doing a little birdwatching while enjoying the picnic and drinks we brought along. Our guide Peter was knowledgable and professional, as would be expected! Although the weather was windy and chilly (for January), the rain only materialised in the distance. We were treated to a lovely rainbow in the late afternoon sun! - Leonie
We were fortunate to have the boat to ourselves because the early morning cruise had no other bookings. This made for a quiet and peaceful cruise with at the helm. So glad we did this trip to see the area from another perspective with a very diverse plant and birds life along the river. The stop to have a swim in the river in a safe location made it extra special. I've known Stamford for many years but only know it's beauty after we went all around the village including the river cruise - Andre
